Feed and Care of Young Turkeys. Keep the turkey hen and poults shut up for a few days. Feed hard boiled eggs with a little salt and plenty of pepper, cutting the eggs (shells and all) up fine and feeding them three times a day. Give water in cup turned upside down in a pan so the poults cannot get wet.
