TROUTDALE FAIRVIEW SANDY BORING The Christmas tree at the church was a great success, the young people being remembered. J. W. Roots A Co. have moved into their new quarters. W. R. Telford has taken the interest of Mr. Morand in the firm and has taken the management of the business. Mr. Morand will give his attention to the postoffice and no tary work. Several real estate transfers are noted this week, Theodore Rehberg having purchased 5 acres from J. W. Roots. | George and John R. Knox have pur chased 3 acres from O. A. Palmer for $2000. V. E. Maulding and F. Mauld- ing have purchased 40 acres from Jas. Larson. A letter has been received from Un cle Morgan, wbo is visiting in Oklaho ma, saying he is having a fine time. Cassie Beck, who has been ill for some time, is able with the aid of crutches, to be around. J. E. Seifer, road commissioner, has received 15 carloads of gravel which has been distributed on the county roads. A surprise party was given last Sat urday in honor of Miss Mola McClung.
