Death of Mrs. Thomas Ginder
The death of Mrs. Tbos. Ginder oc­
curred early Tuesday morning at her
residence on Hood avenue after a severe
illness lasting several months. The end
came peacefully, with her children and
husbaud at her side. fJeath resulted
from dropsy, her condition becoming
so bad that blood poisoning bad set in.
This made it necessary to hold the
funeral early. The funeral was held
Wednesday afternoon. Rev. J. F. Dun­
lop conducted the service. The burial
was in the Gresham cemetery.
Nancy Shelburn Ginder was born in
Indiana, December 23, 1843. She came
to Iowa at an early day, where in 18tiU
she was married to Thomas Ginder.
To them were born five children.
Those now living are, Charles, of Apple­
gate, Oregon; J. W., of Portland; Mrs.
Ina Harms of Portland, and Miss Lillian
Ginder. Her husband and a sitter sur­
vive her.
Mrs. Ginder was a patient sufferer

and endeared herself to all who knew
her. Her death is mourned by many
