Ihtrnall, appointed at the last meeting to answer detractors of the referendum law, reported that they had submitted the question to State Master Austin T. Buxton, who ha I made an answer, pub­ lished in full in the Grange Bulletin of July. The report recommended that articles be prepared from time to time ami published giving detailed informa­ tion of features of the initiative and ref­ erendum law, meeting the effort to dis­ credit the law. The resolution favoring the restriction of the publication of State Grange pro­ ceedings to the reports of the master, lecturer, secretary ami treasurer, sub­ mitted by the Masters ami Lecturers’ Association of Multnomah county, was defeated.
