W. B. Potter of Spiay has gone
into the business of raising thor
oughbred Lincoln sheep, and ex
pects soon to be able to supply all
the Lincoln bucks wanted in this
part of the country. He recently
bought Oscar Minor's entire flock
of Lincoln ewes, consisting of 219
head, and at the same time secured
Lincoln bucks that captured a
long string of premiums on tbe
P.lOS fair circuit. The bucks aud
ewes are all registered, and the
ilock now owned lv Mr. Potter is
one of tlir choicest iu the United
States. The ewes cost 8'J0 per
Lead and the price of the bucks
ran into triple figures. It is hoped
that Mr. Potter's commendable en
terprise in establishing this Hock
will meet with the success it de
