MLkIQXJD)BW . D)eplt. Store, JHEojpjpjnLea?
No warning needed here. Many people will buy goods even against their best judgment, if strongly urged by salesmen, hence the mischief of paying
jriTpole premiums to force out slow selling goods-a pernicious practice in more general use than merchants like to acknowledge. But not a premium"
i"spaTdin our "store. Goods are moved their first season by just such generous reductions as that are just madeamongst our $357000 stock sale.

Reliable Wool News.
Wool is raised extensively in all
parts of the United States, includ
ing Wall street. It is used as a
garment for wolves find to adjust
over people's eyes. In Wall street
woo! tnkes the form of fleece and
is higLly prized tis a protection for
both bulls and bears, who are often
too thinly clad for their owd com
fort. Thus the tender lamb is glad
to help out its brothers in distress.
The shearing Lours are from 10
to 3.
Wool is obtained from 5-lieep
tlat we remember to have seen in
oil paintings dotting the landscape.
Dotting the landscape is, however,
uot an occupation in itself, but is
only a means to.vm-J an end. Most
of it is imported to other countries,
but occasionally traces of it are
found iii our doineetic woolen un
derwear. The jjiriie "All woolnrd a vrd
wide" was iavci.ted by the modern
laundryman. Since h;s advent it
has bet-u revised to '"All vool and
three iuches wide.'
Sheep are very simple in their
habits, and although they never
use Lair tonic-, cr wash and dress
haireery night btfore going to
bed, they seldom become bald or
are obliged to sit in the front row.
Their nam is also always the fame
eo they ure not likely to get loit.
When we j-ny t-heep we simplj
iae;ti a hit of sheeps gathered to
gether. In ordinary cases sleep arrive at
maturity in a year or so, but Mary's
little lamb never grows old and is
as frisky as ever. IJary's little
lamb itdeed is t he onlv one who
has pulled the wool or every one's
eyes and concealed his real age
ever eii:ce he was horn.
