the tjroDortionate value between
the light and heavy grades.
With the Heavier grades some of
the growers were well satisfied
having received as much or more
than they expected for their wools.
With the owners of the lighter
grades some of them feel that they
ought to have received more, how
ever only a few lots were .with
drawn.
The main dissatisfaction comes
from the fact that while it was
represented that there were 20
buyers, only four bidders bought
nearly all of the wool. In fact
Elleiy and Brigham bought the
big end of the wool.
Whether the few bidders were
able to pay more and the fifteen or
sixteen others were outclassed in
the competition or whether they
came as dummies, or spectators is
a mystery unsolved. Anyhow, the
fact remains that about a half
dozen bidders submitted the offers
and the balance were blanks.
