TIMOTHY H. BISBEE DEAD.
Peases Away Very Suddenly With
Heart Failure.
Timothy II. liiebee Isdead. The news
shocked the people of Heppner, Mou
day morning.
Sunday, Mr. I'.iahee was apparently
in the best of health. He went to
cniircii in me evening ana got lio i e a
short time before his w ife who accom
panied him.
Mrs. liisbee went to bed and at about
10 o'clock noticing the unusual absence
of her husband, got up and went down
stairs. She expected to find him asleep
in a chair. Not being there, t-lie anked
I.ouia if his lather had come home from
church. Becoming alarmed, the Hon
went to look for Mr. liisbee and found
him in the cloHet. He wan apparently
asleep, but as he did not respond when
spoken to fie was carrie 1 to the house.
A physician was imm-diattly tele
phoned for, but Mr. liisbee was beyond
medical aid, having peacefully passed
away of heart failure.
Deceased leaves a wife and two chil
dren, Miss Lillian M., and Louis K.
Miss Bi bee was at Hoijuiam, Wash.,
at the time of her father's death.
Funeral services were conducted at
the M. E. church at o'clock yester
day afternoon, and the remains were
laid at rest in the Masonic cemetery.
Timothy Heald Bisbee as born at
Sumner, Maine, September 2, 1838. He
came to the Pacific coast around the
Horn in 1S58. Being struck with the
California gold fever, be first stopped
in the golden state w here be was in
terested in mining for ten years. From
California he went back to Maine on a
visit aad then came to Oregon. On
November 6. 1878, he was married to
