Mrs. S. A. 1 1 nt ton has sold her farm

an acre. This place is a mile and a half
from Hood River, on Indian creek, and

at one fifth that price, but values are
going to raise.
The Irng Creek correspondent of the

received that Miss Annie Wilmouth of
Rittur was drowned about two miles below-
there. Her body was not recovered
until Saturday. Coroner D. W. Morrow
was sent for. She was a very eslmable
young lady and had many friends.
A. B. Smith and wife and Albert
Owens, home -seekers from Wright
county, Missouri, arrived in HeppDer
this week and are looking about for a
Hinlalile place to locate. Mr. Smith

well advertised and that largo numbers
are coming to Oregon.
