Three Indians who refused to give their
names, passed through Northern Grant early
last week enroute from the Columbia river to
distant points In the south part of the county,
They stated that their mission was to try to get
all the Indians in Grant county to go home, yet
itwu noticed that they were well armed. Thl
latter fact, and refusal to give their names,
gives support to the theory that they are in the
county on a mission of revenge, instead ol try.
lni to persuade their people to leave the
county.
Dr. Marguerite Oarnsey, who is at present
