The city council was called to order last Monday evening by Mayor Van Orsdall, with all the officers and members pres­ ent, except Councilman Fenton. The Himes Engineering Com­ pany reported that they had run levels as ordered for the disposal of the city sewage, and that it was feasible to drain the whole city to a point on the creek be­ low Abel Uglow’s. They recom­ mended the purchase of about five acres there to accommodate city stables, and incinerator anti a septic tank of sufficient size to take care of a city of 3000 people. The report evoked considerable discussion, but no action was taken, other than to o'tlec the committee to go ahead with its work as outlined, providing as far as possible for all ermi in­ genues.
