Mr. Chapin’s lecture was greatly appreciated by the farmers of this commun­ ity, who have been troubled with smut the last few years. The next Pomona meeting will be held at „Mono Grange, Lewisville, November 12th. The regular monthly meet­ ings of Oak Grove Grange were resumed Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with a large attendance. A fine dinner was served at noonby the ladies of the Grange. At 2:30 L. C. Chapin delivered an interesting lecture on clover culture, giving instructions in preparing the soil, in seeding 1 Hunter mill.
