That Advertising Proposition.
The Itemizer last week mentioned the
fact that it would be a good plan to send
some advertising matter back with our
baske' hall team for distribution through
tho east and called a meeting of citizens
to talk up the matter. A few met Fri
day evening and adjourned to Tues
day night, when quite a meeting was
held, and many of our most prominent
business men present. Although sever
al plans were proposed and the need of
seizing this opportunity for advertising
fully conceded by all, yet no definite ac
tion was taken. Tho Itemizer believes
that the best that can he done now is to
get out about 20,000 heralds, descriptive
of our town and its resources, and have
them distributed by Mr Stout, the ad
vance agent, who leaves next Tuesday,
and also by the team a few weeks later.
In such we could fully set out our ad
vantages, and the work could be gotten
out in time.

can buy near Java which comes from
Brazil, but whatever we sell you wheth
er it is Java. Mocha and Java or Costa
Rica, you may know it is the best grade
