1 as to what is being done by the direc­
tors toward promoting a cannery at
this place. I have this to sav: On F eb ­
ruary ¿5th the directors held a meeting
and at th at time G. NY. Myer and » >y-
selt were elected to visit some of the
canneries of the valley, to hear what we
could about the business for the guid­
ance of the directors as to m atters con­
nected with the establishm ent of a plant
at this place. On the following Mon­
day Mr. Myer and myself visited the
George Skeel has returned to his plant at Springbrook. We found Mr.

millwright in the big mill here.
