W h en the blood is pure, fresli and healthy, the skin will be soft, smooth
and free from blemishes, but when some acid humor takes root in the circu
lation its presence is manifested by a skin eruption or disease.
These
humors get into the blood, generally because of an inactive or sluggish
condition of the members of the body whose duty it is to collect and carry
off the waste and refuse matter of the system. This unhealthy matter is left
to sour and ferment and soon the circulation becomes charged with the acid
poison. The blood begins to throw off the humors and acids through the
pores and glands of the skin, producing Eczema, Acne, Tetter, Psoriasis,
Salt Rheum and skin eruptions of various kinds. Eczema appears, usually
with a slight rednes.; of the skin followed by pustules from which there
flows a sticky fluid that dries and forms a crust, ami the itching is intense.
It is generally on the back, breast, face, arms and legs, though other parts
of the body may be affected. In Tetter the skin dries, cracks and bleeds;
the acid in the blood di ies up the natural oils of the skin, which are intended
to keep it soft aud pliant, causing a dry, feverish condition and givin g it a
hard, leathery appearance. Acne makes its appearance on the face in the
form of pimples and black heads, while

It neutralizes the acids and removes the
humors so that the skin instead of lieing
irritated and diseased, is nourished by a
supply of fresh, healthy blood.
External
applications of salves, washes, lotions, etc.,
while they soothe the itching caused by
skin affections, can never cure the trouble
because they do not reach the blood. 8. S. S goes down into the circulation
and forces out every particle of foreign matter and restores the blood to its
normal, pure condition, thereby permanently curing every form of skin
ntfection. Book on Skin Diseases and any medical advice desired sent fre*

SORES DISAPPEARED
W. G. Sharmnn, who has been in In-
dejiendeuce several days, returned to his
claim near Toledo.
“ Our little girl, one year and a half
old, was taken with eczema or that was
what the doctor said it was. W e called
in the family doctor and he gave some
tablets and said she would be all right
in a few days. The eczema grew worse
and we called in doctor No. 2. He
said she was teething, as soon as the
teeth were through she would be all
right. But she still grew worse. Doc
tor No. 3 said it was eczema. By this
time she was nothing but ii yellow,
greenish sore. Well, ne said he could
help her, so we let him try it about
a week. One morning wo discovered
a little yellow pimple on one of her
eyes. Oi course we 'phoned for doctor
No. 3. He came over and looked her
over and said that he could not do any
thing more for her, that we had better
take her to some eye specialist, since it
was an ulcer. So we we it to Oswego
to doctor No. 4, and he said the eye
sight was gone, but that he could help it.
W e thought we would try doctor No. 5.
Well, that proved the same, only he
charged $ io more than doctor No. 4.
W e were nearly discouraged. I saw
one of the Cuticura advertisements in
the paper and thought we would try
the Cuticura Treatment, so I went and
purchased a set of Cuticura Remedies,
which cost me SI, and in three days
our daughter, who had been sick about
eight months, showed great improve
ment, and in one week all sores had dis
appeared. Of course it could nok re
store the eyesight, but if we had used
Cuticura in time I am confident that
it would have saved the eye. W e think
there is no remedy so good for any skin
trouble or impurity o f the blood as
