If Baldy Gildner and Doug Hubbard keep up their record they will surely make a success as farmers. They ¡►ought a team, wagon and harness, and then sold the team for as much as they gave for the whole outfit. The only question is, can they buy another team as cheap. At the home of Dr. B. H. McCallon, as announced in the Iteinizer, the many friends of Rev. A. C. Brackenhury and wife tendered them a royal reception last Wednesday evening, to emphasive the beginning of that gentlemans second year of work here as pastor of the Meth odist church. Turner, and now it has to tell of his death, which occured at the family home near Airlie last Thursday evening, He was buried Saturday in the Smith cemetery. He was a man of sterling worth and will be greatly miss ed from the community in which he re sided. He had acquired considerable of this world’s goods, and possessed one of the largest farms in the Luckiamute pe* ;ion. He was a native of Missouri, had ived in this county nearly 30 years, and was aged about 71 years. He leaves to mourn his loss, a wife, six sons and one daughter, all of whom reside in the county.
