in different oases, and even in the
saute individual at different times.

Some people m e very religious a
church on Sunday, but do not carry
much religion into their Inures for
Monday. Scotch Dean H im : say tells a
story of n little fellow who, on belli,
told of l.oaven, anxiously asked, "An
will father be there'/" Being answered
that of course he would he there,
the hoy Lroko out, “ Then I'll no gang!"
Surely that father did not bring much
genial religion Into the home climate.
Rut n Christian mother said: “ I am
a missionary In my nursery. Six pairs
of eyes are dally watching my looks,
ns well ns llsteniug to my words, and
I wish my children never to see in me
that which they may not Imitate.” Is
not that the true religions spirit?—Rev.

The world whl recognize all Chris
thins ns the disciples o f Jesus when
they love each other sincerely. If all
bodies of Christians and all denomina
tions and sect» lu the world loved e tch
other cordially and trnl.v, the world
would soon be convinced of the genu
ineness of the Christian religion. Jostis
said: “ By this shall all men know that
ye ure my disciples. If ye have love
one to another.” Christ had a seam
less robe when he was crucified. It
was not rent by the soldiers. They de
cided by chance which soldier should
have the seamless robe. The uulty of
all Christians throughout the world
will mark the golden age o f Christian
ity. W e can each cultivate love In our
lally life. “ Love never falleth,” Panl
said, “ but the greatest of these la love.”
—Rev. Warren G. Partridge, Baptist,
Pittsburg.
