June 1st to elect a successor to Con­
gressman Tongue, deceased.

mittee met in Dallas Wednesday, and

Creek primary to be held March 26th.

of way to it ftom the road to Smith-

some fifty years ago, the first one bur
ied there being a daughter of Perry
Smith. Up to the present there have
been but few interred there except the
Townsend, Brown and Smith kindred,
but it will now become a general bur­
ial ground and be kuown as the Ma­
sonic cemetery.
