Several partiea from here have bean
visiting the large strawberry patches

ing them ourselves they cest us about
2 cents a box.
Zelnia, the 9 year old daughter of J.
C. Simpson and wife had the miafor-
tune to get her right arm thrown out
of place at the elbow and otherwise
seriously bruised by s pony falling
with her. Dr. Luther attended her
and it is feared the arm will always be
stiff, as the ligaments and synovial
membrane were injured.
While on our way to Corvallis last
week we met George Lindemau, bro­
ther of A. A. Lindeman, of Lewisville,
who now owns the Charley Moore
farm some five miles this side of Cor­
vallis. He is a neat farmer and has
as fine a piece of wheat as can be seen
in Benton county.
He furnishes
cream for the Corvallis creameries,
using his own separator. He also
owns a steam threshing outfi', includ­
ing self feeder and blower.
