claim near McTimmonda valley and
lived there the balance of Ida life. In
1886 he joined the Evangelical church
at Lewisville and remained a faithful
ami couiiatent member, He was once
county commissioner and wa. in all
respects an excellent citizen. Presi
dent Poling, of Dallas college, preach
ed his funeral last Sunday and a long
procession of sorrowing friends saw
him laid away in the Edwards grave
yard at Peedee.
