the way o f irarters that they aseeredly
deserve a place in chronicles o f fashion
Many women are, we believe, strong
minded enough to resist these pretty
trifles, aud discarding the historic ri­

penders. For the benefit o f those, how­
ever, who are faithful to the old tradi­
tions, we describe some of the newest
ideas iu the way o f garters. A pretty
