Young Williams, brother of the young ladies drowned, was a quarter of a milo away, saw tho trouble and ran to tho assistance of the unfortun ates, but was soon overpowered by thoso who wero drowning, and he too drowned. Mrs. Williams, his mother, mado an effort to save them, but she was pulled down and would havo met tho fate of her children but for tho timely aid of hor two daughtors, aged 10 and 12 years.
