thought a few remarks in to its advan
tages would bo of interest to your many
readers. Dennett Flat is without ques
tion tho most beautiful town site in the
whole country.- It is situated in tho
upper Wallown valley, about 7 miles
from tho lake, 0 in ilea from Joseph,
and 3 miles from Alder. It is bounded
on the Fouth and went by tho Wallo
wa river, on tho north by Trout creek,
on tho east by a vast range of low rol
ling hills, which will ad'ord pasturage,
for largo numbers of cattle. This alone
is quito an advantage, as people who
have tried keeping cows in town will
readily see. There is already several
houses put up, and several inoro build
ing. Two new school buildings will in
all probabability bo erected this sum
mer, one for public purposes tho other
for a graded school. There is golden
chances hero for good live energetic
men in all departments of business.
Wo hope to sec this the model town of
tho valley in a few years, in which such
things as factions, cliques, rings and
saloons will Lc unknown.
