The provisions of tho now registry
law are substaiitinlly as follows,
The County Courts of the difforont
counties, at their llrst meeting in
January, shall appoint judges and
clerks, in oaeli precinct , for tho next
uoiierul election, and the judges so
appointed shall act us a registration
board in the various precincts. They
shall moot, attended by the clerks, at
the usual polling places in each pre
cinct 011 tho llrst Monday in April,
ami continue in open session for three
days, to receive applications for reg
istration from nil who ore legal voters
or who may be uch at the next
general election. To each ot such
persons the Judges sh ill give a eor'itl
cate. hi eases of sickness or unavoid
able absence, which iumt bo stated

chairman ot the registration bound
