Washington, D. C. Dec. 20tb, 1886.
The last session of the forty-ninth
Congress is shaming its predecessor
by industry. There has been a good
deal less talk and a good deal more
work than usual so far. The passage
of such bills as that to give the Indians
lands in severalty, that to redeem trade
dollars, that to repeal the Tenure of
office act, Postal bills and appropria
tions, leflects high credit on Congress as
a part of its second week's work.
- Besides this legislation, various sub
jects have been briefly discussed, such
as Interstate commerce, the fisheries,
the Tariff and the Beck Railroad At
although it be but a little item in the
aggregate, and there is likely to be a
reform sometime.
E. Evans, president of the Lumber

All eyes were turned upon him as he

WHY one remedy can affect so many cases is this : The diseases have a com

the diseases. Unlike any other organ in the body, the Kidney when diseaed may
itself be free from pain, and th. very fact that it i3 not painful leads many people
to d'.ny that it is diseased. But Medical Authorities agree that it can be far
