sufficient protection to any of our in
dustries and a much greater benefit up
on the agricultural interests of the
country than that ruinous and dishon
est policy o protection, which legislates
the hard earnings out of the pockets of
the producer and consumer into the
coffers of the rich manufacturer and
common carrier, whom it alone benefats
