Agricultural College football eleven won
its opening game from tbe veterans of
former years. The Ecore is symbolic ot

every attempt at yard gaining by either
team. The 1905 boys were met on every
hand by fellows who apparently knew
tbe game. .

This company, though entire
ly independent and separate, wiil
work in connection with the
Jones Lumber company, and will
be located in South Portland on
the West side. Mr. Sheasgreen
will be secretary and manager of
the company, he having disposed
of his interests in the Central
Mills and Box Factory here to
Mr. E. Buxton. This transfer
will be completed as soon as the
work on hand is finished and the
stock invoiced, which will be
about the 15th of October. Mr.
Sheasgreen expects to move his
family to Portland in the near
future. In speaking of the change
he remarked: "Every one of
my family as well as myself dis
like to leave our old home and
friends, but a man must move on
when good opportunities occur to
improve his condition."
We shall be sorry to have Mr.
Sbeasgreen leave our city after so
many years' residence among us.
