returned to her home at Burns.

played the Albany girls a close
game Saturday evening, which
resulted in 1 score of 18 to 13 in
favor of Albany. ; There was a
large number of rooters went over
to Albany, "making the crowd . at
the game about evenly divided
between Albany and OAC. Those
who witnessed the game were
proud : of our team, as all ; the
girls played a good game. -
T. T. Vincent addressed the
Y. M. C. A. Sunday afternoon. -'
Mr. Wallace Thompson has
gone to Portland to consult a phy
sician about ' his health. If his
health improves he will return
to school. -
The field meet which was to
have been last Saturday is to oc
cur next Saturday, having been
postponed on account ot the bas
ketball games. .
One of the most pleasant social
events of the season occurred last
Saturdav afternoon when Mrs. T.
M. Gatch entertained the girls of
OAC and the ladies of the . fac
ulty, r; Miss Snell assisted, Mrs.
Gatch 'in receiving the . guests.
The rooms were beautifully dec
orated in ferns, violets and mi
lax. Dainty refreshments were
served, Mrs. Callahan and Mrs.
Withycombe presiding in the
