"W.C. Reese followed her in an excel
lent talk. He thought teacher, patron
snd pupils should come to an understand
ing. By a thorough understanding much
trouble and dissatisfaction can be obvi
ated. The days work was one of profit and
pleasure. The citizens of this section of
oar -county deserve unstinted praise for
itheir interest and loyalty in their schooL?.
Notwithstanding the, pressing demands
on them to remain at home, the Grange
Ylall was filled. Such loyalty in face of
this season of year is indeed a compli
itnent to their enthusiasm. The dinner
'during noon hour here was a repetition
of the many such dinners given in past.
The next meeting occurs in Alsea on
second Saturday in May. X
