with the remains of her husband.
Teams were in waiting and the

dence of Mr. Joseph Misner, father

funeral took place, the burial being

ceased had i x pressed a desire for
a last resting place. Mr. John
Adam was a native of Sootland,
41 years old, and leaves a wife and
two daughters. He was a sober,
industrious man, and held a re
sponsible position on the Northern
Pacific railroad at Pullman, Wash.

A Deer In Dallas.
Yesterday afternoon at Dallas
Hale Backensto an.'. Frank Magers
came very near capturing a live
wild deer which they chased in o
town from the timbered hills near
town. The gentle doe ran into a
yard in tin; west part of tow n and
they thought they would capture
it but before they could co led
their wits the affrighted a'dmal
jumped the fence and disappeared
down the road, making its sife
escape into tne country und the
woods. Wild deer are scarce now
in this part of the count! y, but
occasionally one wanders fr mi the
mountains down into the valleys
and clearings.

revelation in the way of beautiful
entertainments. The flower is one
that combines both useful and
ornamental qualities in an unusual
degree' and its large cup makes it
