Lloyd bears a very unsavory repu

wished to wed a young woman in
Texts, where he has been for
some time, and to accomplish this
end he secretly slipped back,
ended the life of his wife and
children, and then took the train.
Lloyd's family have long stood in
dread of him. He has on several
occasions made threats to kill
them. Lloyd was captured last
night at Donaldson ville, ' a., a
little station on tbe Alabama Mid
land railroad. He arrived here to
day, and threats are made to lynch
him.

cuse for depriving ber of her liber
ty. It is with difficulty that ehe
can le gotten to leave her neeteven
at night or to take her uteris.
Tho doctors attiibute her afflic
tion to the solitary life she leads,
for ehe has not for tbe past fifteen
years left her home but on two. oc
casions, then but for a day once
and a couple of hours on the other.
Her friends say they are at a loss
to account for the turn her diseas
ed imagination has Uken, as ehe
would neyer keep ducks al tout ber,
nor would eh ' ever eat them. Her
hallucination seemed to be of a
6udden growth, for after retiring
one night in apparently yood spir
its and rational aa to mind, she
rose early the next morning, awak
ening her family by a lond
quacking, and though she -dressed
herself with her usual care, pro
ceeded to gather all the broken
crockery on the place and to settle
herself on it.
If approached with caution and
asked any questions in reg. rl to

quietly and rationally as long as
she suspects no attempts to move
her. She has jus: passed her 71st
birthday. -
