giving him one containing rocks

Jones thought the gam? was
honest till he came here with the
box and found no man with a key
for it ready to open it and cash his
check. He oroke into the box and
was paralyzed at finding nothing
but cruel stones. He offers $5.10

Mrs. A. Wheeler, wiie of the

afternoon. She bad been to Eu
gene with her husband who had

town the horse became frightened
and ran away, throwing her out
on the gravel road. She received
a severe shock and several pain
ful bruises, but it is thought they
are not necessarily fatal.
