Clever Invention.
The Oreit iiiian says that Mr.
Wm. Grandahl, the Southern Pa

bridges and buildings, has given
further evi lence of his ingenuity
in inflecting an arranuemeid for

trains. It consists of a hnrt'ct, or
extension of the floor of flat cars,
which operate to iorm acominuou
door on the train. In this way
'he whole train can be loaded with
a continuous hili of gravel. The
unloading is quite an achievement.
