reported back the senate bill, with
amendment, for the general for
feiture of land grants; ordered re

buildings bill. Among the public
building bills acted upon favorably
ws one for Portland, Ore., for
$400,000.
A lull for the erection of a public
building at Walla Walla, Washing
ton, for $40,000 was reported to the
house to-day.
The land grant forfeiture bill re
