in every direction just now and a
large ar?otint of the. grain crop of

valley is now sacked up. While
the yield, is in fio case phenomen
ally large as on many previous 1
years, nor is it in general as large
as common, yet there is no cause
for complaint; there will be plenty
of wheat for sale and the shortage
in the world's crop will insure good
figures for it.
The cf use of shortage in this
valley is the continued d.y, hot

borhood for several years, said to a
reporter yesterday that "whenever
we have so much warm weather
without sufficient moisture in the
ground, the spring grain fails to fill
well and the yield is consequently
