Along with the other improve
ments on foot in Albany should
come horses for the steam fire
engines, at any rate for oik? of
them. Tho horses could be utilized
in other wavs and would not be
much more expensive than hiring i
dray teams to haul the engines to
and from fires.
Sullivan and Kilrain pounded
each other yesterday through 7-'
rounds which lasted all forenoon.
They einiply fought until Kilrain
was exhausted. Then Sullivan,
who proved to have the best en
durance, landed a blow upon Kil
rain's neck which knocked him
down, and he was too weak to get
