cattle from running at large within
the city limits of Albany. Its
principal provisions are as follows:
Suction 1. No cow, bull, steer,
heifer, calf or cuttle of any kind,
snail be allowed to run at large or
to be horded in or upon any of the
streets, alleys, parks or" public
piaces in the corporate limits of !
the city of Albany or upon any
private premises therein, except
thse of the owners of such
animals (unless when being driven
through the city for shipment or

evening M. S. Hubble, a farmer
wife and two children, attempted
to ford the Willamette near here
and were swept into deep water
and the wagon overturned. The
woman and children were drowned.
The bodies were not it-covered.
