Accident nt Lebanon.
. Chas. Walton, of Lebanon, a
young man aged about 17, while
handling a box"bf powder Monday,
met with a serious accident. I le
had a few grains of the powder in
his hand, which he ignited with a
match: ,This was communicated
. in some manner with the powder
in the box, which was exploded.
The accident oecuried up-stairs
and the shock was so severe as to
blow a door open at trie foot ot the
stairs. The young man's face and
hands were frightfully burned, but
it is thought he will recover with-
out the loss of his eyesight.
