A republican convention for the
state of Oregon is called to meet at
the city of Portland, Oregon, on
Wednesday, the Uth dav of April,
11 D. 1888, at 11 o'clock A. M.,
f-r the purpose of noniinatiny: can
didates for the f'o'lowing officers,
to-wit. llepresentative in congress,
three presidential electors, supreme
judge and district officers, and to
select six delegates to attend the
national republican convention,
and to transact such other business
s niav properly come before the
convention. The convention will
consist of 209 delegates, apportion
ed among the several counties as
