A republican convention for the
state of Oregon is called to meet at
"the city of Portland, Oregon, on
Wedr.-'s.Jay, the 11th dnv of Apri!,
A. D. 188S, at J 1 o'clock A. M.,
for the purpose of nominating can
didate i for the following officers,
to-wit. Representative in congress,
Three presidential electors, supreme
judije aurl district officers, and to
select six delegates to attena the
national republican convention,
and to transact euch other business
as may properly come before the
convention. The convention will
consist of 209 delegates, apportion
ed among the several couuties as
follows :
