A republican convention for the
state of Oregon is called to meet at
the city ot" Portland, Oregon, on
Wednesday, the Uth dav of April,
A. D. 1888, at 11 o'clock A. M.,
for the purpose of nominating can
didates for the following officers,
to-wit. Representative in congress,
three presidential electors, supreme
judre and district officers, and to
select six delegates to attena the
national republican convention,
and to transact such other business
as mav properly come before the
convention. The convention will
consist of 209 delegates, apportion--ed
among the several bounties as
follows:
