The following wo take from the
Daily Coast regarding the death of
Emil Erickson, who died at North
Bend, Nov. 26, 1902:
Deceased was born in Dalton,
Goltonbcrg, Sweden, May 4, 1859.
Ho came to Coos bay some time in
the seventies and has been in the
employ of the different sawmills ever
since. He was married on Nov. 14,
1881 to Miss Hattio RobertsoD, a
daughter of Jan. Robertson, of Coos
river. Ho was a member of the A.
O. U. W. and the M. W. A. orders
and had many friends who will re
gret his untimely taking off. The
cause of his death was blood-poison
ing, arising from the laceration of
one of bis fingers by a rusty nail.
Besides a widow, he leaves three
children: Robert aged 8, Alton 6,
and Violet 5.
