R. D. Sanford brought us in a
sample of his prune crop last Wed
nesday, which wfl"are sure will
compare with the best anywhere.
These are cured iu his own dryer,
under his own supervision, aod
seem to be without fault in any
particular.
He gave us sam
ples o f three kinds, Germau, Ital
ian and Petite. A friend recently
visiting Rosebnrg brought in some
c f thelst grndcGermnu prunes from
that sectiou, which ran 40 to the
pound. Mr. Sanford, without grad
ing, run 30 to the pound. They
are large, with very email seede,
aud delicious in flavor and for table
use.
We are glad to know also
that Mr. Sanford will dispose of
his crop right here at home— will
have no occasion to seek a market
elsewhere.

We live in a country of which the
principal scourge is stomach-trouble.
It is moro wide-spread than any
other disease, aud, very nearly, more
dangerous.
One thing that makes itao danger
ous is that it is so little understood.
If it were better understood, it
would be more feared, more easily
cured, lees universal than it is now.
So, those who wish to be cured,
take Shakor Digestive Cordial, be
cause it goes to the root of the
trouble as no other medicine does.
The pure, harmless, curative herbs
aud plants, of which it is composed,
are what reuder it so certsin and, at
the same time, so gentle a cure.
It helps aud strengthens the
stomach, purifies and tones up the
system.
Sold by druggists, price 10 cents
to $1.00 per bottle.
