We have the pleasure to announce the
opening of a new cash merchandise
store, and the location of agencies in the
principal cities and ports of America,
Europe and Asia for the purchase and
selection of goods for us.
These agents have our instructions to
watch every sale and every failure; to
look after every factory and big concern
that may be overstocked or on the verjpe
of bankruptcy and ruin, and with ready
cash—a hard and solid cash ¡9 hand to
knock the prices down below the costs
in order to enable us to quote these bar
gains at low prices that webs never heard
of before in this market or any other.
We deal, however, in gdodgoods and
not trash, for if there is honor in man or
virtue in good goods at low prices, we
mean to be master of the situation.
Hence, not by favor bnt by merit,
will we establish and maintain our un
rivaled reputation.
New advanced ideas beating back the
old—give us pluck instead of lo ck , cash
instead of credit, brains in the place of
cheek, and science and ability with genius
and ambition, and then an energy that
never tires, a mind that never wanders,
an eye that never sleeps, and a nerve
that-never quivers, and we will ride
rough shod all over the world!
What is the use of wasting money
when you may save it by Imying of a
house that ia enabled to offer goods at
much less than other houses?
Upon our counters » ill be thrown,
day after day, some gigantic windshakes
at panic prices that are positively beyond
the whisper of competition, comparison
or monoiKily—prices that will teach you
in the silent logic of truth the difference
between dealing with live and dead men
— between the cash and the credit system
—between the right and the wrong way.
We respectfully invite vour early and
repeated visit an,l inspection. ( Sir stock
will is* replenished every few davs.
