ANOTHER ACCIDENT.
Last night, about 10:30, the log­
ging train was coming up, nnd at
the cut ut Allen Collier’s, just nt
the west odge of town, the tender
struck a cow belonging to Mr. Col­
lier, shoved her some distance
and was derailed, as was also the
rear truck of the engine, nnd the
track damaged for the length of
two rails. The cow, it appears, was
lying on tho track, and was a fine
brute.
The train got off about G o’clock,
while the section hands, under
boss W. Strayhon, finished repair­
ing the track about II o’clock todny.
Four new rails were placed aud
probably eight or ten ties.
