afternoon A1 Willard was severely
stabbed three times by Tom Drew
at Mrs. Willard’s place two miles
up the river.
The trouble was
about a beaver skin, the former
claiming it is said, that the latter
had taken an animal of that kind
out of his trap.

found out all the particulars, but
Willard has been brought to town
and bis wounds may je t prove
serious, particularly one in the
groin. It is deeply deplcred bj*

are related. No arrests have been
made.
