ments to the excellency of her har­
bor for n year or so, but they have
disappeared.
We refer to the
wrecks of the splendid steamers
' ‘Yaquina
Bay” and ‘ Yaquina
City.”
Mrs. S. E. Robinson has again
taken charge of her hotel—the
Robinson house—and lus thor­
oughly renovated the same. She
will be pleased to meet her old-
time customers, and as many new
ones are desirous of first class fare
at reasonable rates. Give her
house a trial.

could not grant a draw bridge
across the navigable waters of the
Coquille as stated a few weeks
since in the H e r a l d . We can
only say that it 1ms been tried in
other parts of the State and an act
of the legislature had to be invoked
in every instance.
