“The Emperor is at Wilhelmshohe. He
enjoys entire freedom of notion ; walks or
rides as he pleases, llis chief companions
are the Prince of Moskowa and Prince Mu
rat. He disregards the stare of curious peo

It is said ho looks thirty years older than in
1865, when the writer saw him. He is now
bloated, bilious, and his yellow eyes are faint
red and expressionless, his movements slow,
awkward and mechanical, and his face abso
lutely devoid of expression. Apathy describes
his appearance in one word, lie retires late
and rises early. His chamber windows are
lighted long after midnight, and at half past
four in the morning the Emperor is seen
walking in the garden. He dresses plainly
in black, and amuses himself a great deal by
talking to the school children who gather to
see him.”

If you are suffering or have suffered, from in
voluntary discharges, what effect does it produce-
upon your general health? Do you feel weak,
debilitated, easily tired ? Does a little extra exer
tion produce palpitation of the heart? Does your
liver, or urinary organs, or your kidneys frequen-
get*out of order? Is your urine sometimes
thicY^milkv or flocky or is it ropy on settling?
Or doeslKthick scum rise to the top ? Or is a sed
iment nt the bottom after it has stood awhile?
Do you have spells of short breathing or dyspep
sia? Are your bowels constipated ? Do you havo *
spells of fainting, or rushes of blood to the head?
Is your memory impaired? Is your mind con
stantly dwelling on this subject? Do you feel
dull, listless, moping, tired of company, of life?
Do you wish to be left alone, to get away from
everybody? .Does any little thing make you start
or jump? Is your sleep broken or restless? Is
the lustre of your eye as brilliant ? The bloom on
your cheek as bright ? Do you enjoy yourself in
society as weil ? Do you pursue your business
with the same energy ? Do you feel as much con
fidence in yourself? Arc your spirits doll and
flagging, given to fits of melancholy ? If so do
not lay it to your liver or dyspepsia. Have you
restless nights? Your back weak, your knees
weak, and have but little appetite, and you attri
bute this to dyspepsia, or liver complaint?

This Powder is invaluable to the Housekeeper,
Hotel and Restaurant Proprietors, Miners and
owners of Steamships ami sea going vessels, as it
docs away with the necessity of providing Eggs
for Puddings. Cakes, Fancy Breads, etc., as the
contents of each tin is equal in every respect (for
the abov* purpose) to four dozen of Eggs.
It dispenses entirely with the use of Soda, Sal
erat us and Cream of Tartar, (taree ingredients
that are very apt to disagree with delicate stom
achs), and is a friend to the dyspeptic, as it makes
the food into which it is introduced, light and
wholesome. It is entirely free from all mineral

those suffering from sour stomachs and impaired
