I nfallibility .—This subject was discuss
ed by Father Weningerat the Catholic church
last Monday evening, per announcement.
We did not hear the lecture, but have uu
derstood from others that it was very able.
Mr. Driver discussed the suine subject at the
M. E. Church on the following evening,
though Ins might more properly be termed a
general onslaught upon the Catholic laith.
B-uh Rev. gentlemen were listened to by u
large number of people.
T heatre .—The California Dramatic Com.
pany, niter failing to draw a satisfactory
crowd on Saturday evening, gave us a very
clever performance on Monday night of this
week. Tin attendance was small, c insider
ing the reduction in the price and the excel
ieuce of the show. At ¿0 cts. the troupe
ought to command success ; dollar theatres
are about played out.
