Dauntless, has mystertously disenppeard. It
is reported that he has lost $30,000 on the
race, and has suicided.
L indon .—Bank of England has raised rate
of interest to 5 per cent. Many additional
failures yesterday. Reverton Howell and Crab
tree, wool dealers—Bradford—and birgely in
terested in American trade, stopped yester
day ; also several failures at stock exchange
in this city, sud at Cotton murket, at Liver
pool. Business is nearly entirely suspended.
